quinnipiac university
As a student and employee, it was so exciting to create designs for Quinnipiac University!
Quinnipiac is a college in Hamden, Connecticut. I had the pleasure of attending Quinnipiac University for nine amazing semesters, and working for them in the Office of Campus Life for six semesters. I designed for Quinnipiac both as a client and for a class project, and had a blast doing so!
digital art & print
While working as the summer receptionist in the Office of Campus Life, my supervisor asked me to create a sign for a charging station that would be going up in the student center.
Since I was given creative freedom with this project, I wanted to create something interesting and fun. After some brainstorming, I came up with the slogan ‘Juice up, Bobcats!’ with a graphic to match.
In addition to the sign, I also created digital illustrations for each of the student centers to be printed as stickers and used as social media graphics, potentially even t-shirts!
motion graphics
While attending Quinnipiac University, I took multiple courses on motion graphics, one being ‘animation techniques,’ where I learned how to create movie-like animations (think: James Bond opening credits).
One project for this class was to create a short introduction video for Ability Media, a campus organization that focuses on disability inclusion and representation in media careers. The only requirement was to use their logo.
I love what this organization stands for and the work they’re doing to diversify the communications workforce and create opportunity. This project was a blast to work on and it was so refreshing and inspiring to see how other students brought their logo to life!
