house of fitteds
I’ve known Mike, owner of House of Fitteds in New Britain, CT, since elementary school. When I heard he was opening his own store, I was beyond excited for him, so when he requested my design services, I was eager to step in and start creating! From social posts to logos, Mike and I collaborate to bring only the best to his customers.
branding
Having recently launched in 2021, House of Fitteds didn’t quite need a rebrand at this time. However, as the CEO, Mike needed a logo for his social pages to go along with his entrepreneurial success.
Mike had a clear vision in mind— sporty, simple, slick. Since he was going to be using this logo for his social media profile pictures, we decided to go with something that would be recognizable, yet legible, in a small size. The letter ‘M’ was a clear choice to represent his name and I got to work.
The end result relays everything Mike asked for and allowed me to step outside of my normal design style, which is always exciting! I loved experimenting with the text and creating a completely custom letter.
The Metro Exchange, held in October 2022 in Springfield, MA, is an event created and hosted by House of Fitteds, Mike came to me with an idea that blossomed into a truly fitting logo (get it?).
The Metro Exchange will host thousands looking to buy, sell, and flip their favorite pieces of streetwear, highly sought after sneakers, custom hats, accessories, and more. It only made sense to create a logo that was both eye-catching and bold for an event so unique and exciting!
The business Mike has built for himself and his loyal customers is growing every day, and being able to be a part of something so large in my community is a blessing.
social media
As business grew, Mike wanted to double-down on his promotional material. Using Instagram and Snapchat exclusively to market to his audience, we decided that informational posts and stories were the best route to advertise sales, new releases, exclusive events, and business updates.
Each post was created using Illustrator and Procreate, and each post is accompanied by a story-sized version.
I’ve had a blast working with Mike to help bring his ideas to life, and can’t wait for our future collaborations!
