Chelsea Manor is an Australian band that delivers ‘a sound that is equal parts forward-thinking and nostalgic, rambunctious and introspective, yet always revolving around the idea of having a good time.’
This logo design was one of my first commissions. I was able to work with artists who knew what the wanted and weren’t afraid to let me experiment and learn along the way.

Bianca from Chelsea Manor wanted a logo featuring their name in capital letters. They didn’t need a color scheme because they would be using the logo in black and white on various colors for backdrops and merchandise.
As a modern pop-punk/rock band, I went with a sans-serif typeface and altered the letter ‘o’ in ‘Manor' to look like an abstract sunset. I adjusted the kerning and tracking until I landed on the final design.
This logo was used on stickers and merchandise, as well their backdrop for their performances. This was the first time I got to see my work being used, and I had a great time working with the band!
